Warm up with this Redwood Classics (WBE Certified, women owned business) unisex crewneck sweatshirt. Made from heavyweight 20oz 100% cotton brush back fleece that will keep you warm and cozy. Made in Canada using a 4-needle flat-lock stitching technique and 2x1 rib cuffs and waistband for increased durability and longevity. Garment washed and pre-shrunk. Colour: Navy. Royal Eagles Great Seal logo centered on chest and Tree of Peace on left sleeve.
The Designers:
Born In The North is a creative studio owned and operated by twin brothers Chris & Greg Mitchell. Their work is created through their own unique lens and is focused on examining the relationship between humans and nature. Taking into account their own story and lived experiences, inspiration is drawn from their Mi’kmaq heritage, music exploration, and Canadian upbringing. $5 of each sweatshirt purchase will be donated to Born In The North.
The Sweatshirt Design:
RBC’s Michael Polak provided creative inspiration to Born In The North by presenting the concept of “Royal Eagles Great Seal” borrowing influence from the “Great Seal” that many of our Nations from across Turtle Island use to identify their communities. Michael wanted the designers to include elements in the design that represented “all of creation”. You will notice symbolism from the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabek, and 2SLGBTQ communities embedded in the design as well.
